About PRC

Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) is Western Australia’s largest and most established private radiology provider, proudly doctor-owned and serving the community for over 75 years.

With a team of over 1,250 professionals and 130 doctors, we deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across more than 20 hospital and community sites, powered by cutting-edge technology and a commitment to compassionate care.

About the role

As a Patient Support Officer at Perth Radiological Clinic, you will play a critical front-line role in helping patients navigate their care experience. Based in our centralised call centre, you will handle high-volume inbound calls, provide accurate information, and schedule appointments across a range of imaging modalities.

You will receive thorough training over the first 4–6 weeks and be paired with experienced team members to support your development in PRC systems and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering a high volume of incoming calls (80–90 per day) from patients and addressing a wide range of enquiries
  • Scheduling appointments accurately across multiple clinics and modalities (e.g. X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound)
  • Providing patients with clear and detailed information on procedure preparation and billing
  • Liaising with PRC’s referrers and coordinating with Clerical and Technical Clinic staff

About you

You are an excellent communicator with a calm and supportive approach. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to delivering a seamless and positive experience for every patient.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Prior experience in a customer service, call centre, or healthcare administration role
  • Confidence in learning and navigating new systems
  • A clear and professional phone manner with strong listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and task management
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across teams
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A valid National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
