With a team of over 130 doctors and 1,250 professionals, we deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across more than 20 hospital and community sites, powered by cutting-edge technology and a commitment to compassionate care.

About the role

This is a part-time position based at Midland Public Hospital. You will be required to work 60 hours per fortnight covering Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week.

Working alongside our technical and medical teams, you’ll support high-quality care and ensure smooth daily operations. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Radiologists with procedures such as ultrasound, screening, CTCA, core biopsies, barium studies, enemas, and cortisone injections
  • Preparing patient reports, handling confidential documentation, and managing patient film collation
  • Following discharge protocols aligned with PRC procedures and specific imaging requirements
  • Reviewing booking lists to ensure accurate time and room allocations
  • Liaising with ward staff to coordinate in-patient appointments and ensure proper preparation, including consent forms and required consumables (e.g. PICCs)
  • Communicating with clinic staff and Radiologists about booking changes throughout the day
  • Ensuring the FNA trolley and procedure rooms are well-stocked and medications are within expiry

About you

You’re a compassionate and detail-oriented clinician with a strong interest in patient care. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are confident working independently in a fast-paced setting.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge of medical emergency procedures, including CPR and oxygen administration (if required)
  • The ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse patients and staff
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A valid National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
