Patient Support Centre
The Patient Support Centre is the first voice a patient hears — and often the one they remember most. Our PASC team coordinates over 1.4 million scans per year across 24 sites and 13 modalities, supporting patients, GPs and specialists across the full Perth metropolitan area and beyond.
01 — The role at PRC
PASC roles at PRC are fast-paced, patient-facing and genuinely meaningful. You're not managing appointments in a vacuum — you're helping people navigate what can be a stressful part of their healthcare journey, and making sure they arrive prepared, informed and confident.
What PASC roles involve:
• Inbound and outbound patient contact — phone, email and digital channels
• Appointment booking and scheduling across PRC's multi-site, multi-modality network
• Referral processing and liaison with GP and specialist rooms
• Patient preparation guidance and pre-appointment communication
• Escalation and triage support for urgent or complex bookings
The complexity of coordinating across 24 sites and 13 modalities — with referrals from GPs, emergency departments and subspecialist rooms — means the skills you build in a PRC PASC role are real and recognised.
02 — Learn & grow
PRC provides structured onboarding and ongoing training for PASC team members. The scale of the network means there is always more to learn — from understanding imaging modalities and referral pathways to navigating urgent and complex booking scenarios.
• Structured induction and onboarding programme
• Cross-training across modalities, booking types and referral pathways
• Regular team education sessions
• Internal career progression pathways into clinic administration, operations and beyond
03 — Where this can take you
The PASC is frequently the entry point into a longer career at PRC. The knowledge of the network, the modalities and the clinical workflows you build in this role is directly transferable into clinic coordination, administration management and operations roles across the business.
PRC is a practice where people stay and grow. If you're looking for a role that gives you genuine healthcare knowledge and a clear internal progression path, the PASC is a strong place to start.
